Red Carpet Clutch: The Chain Fringe Minaudiere By Monika Chiang

Feb 16 2012 • by Maria

Aussie actress Melissa George wowed the red carpet onlookers as she sashayed in her figure hugging, jaw-dropping black sequined gown. The look was quite minimalistic, something catwoman-ish in my standards but ultimately very very sexy. My focal interest is in the clutch: an edgy chain fringe designed by Monika Chiang.

This type of clutch is seldom seen on the red carpet but Melissa George pulled it off effortlessly, and with pizzazz. The 35-year old actress never looked this good! Her very recent split with beau (of one year) Russell Simmons officially makes her a single lady now!

I’m seeing chain fringes on my next clutch bag! This unconventional embellishment will sure steal the show at any event — be it on the red carpet or at your next door neighbor’s birthday bash!
