Olsen Twins Clutched YSL at the MET

The Olsen twins rocked the Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of Rossini’s “Le Comte Ory” last week. It was sponsored by YSL, so naturally, the power duo fabulously donned the brand.

They looked dressed to the nines as always, having that strong fashion statement to boot. Needless to say, I was drawn to the YSL Y-Mail clutch in satin they both were clutching. It was adorable that both of them were carrying the same purse. Ashley’s was in black and MK’s was in navy.

Here’s a closer look at Ashley’s clutch.

The clutch features the signature and iconic address as inspired by Mr. St. Laurent’s handwriting. I’ve seen the patent version around but it is only now that I’ve seen one (or two) in satin hard frame with the jeweled clasp. I like it better than the patent, if you ask me. The satin seems just more luxurious and appropriate for such a high wattage event.

Also a good online hunt for YSL dibs is bluefly.com. The Y-mail is not available as I write this but I’m quite sure I’ve seen it there before. And if it was, then they’ll most likely to have it again.
