Katherine Heigl Wears a Studded Deepa Gurnani Clutch to a Star-Studded Event

Katherine Heigl chose a black knee length halter dress with metallic embellishments at the neck and waistline for the annual Elle’s Tribute to Women in Hollywood event last October 17 at Beverly Hills, California. She glammed up her frock even more with a Deepa Gurnani gold studded black clutch, a perfect match to her almost all-black ensemble. I always thought studs were better paired with leather jackets and boots — until I saw this one on Katherine.

I surmise that the ‘stud’ fixation is far from over and fashion forward women are wearing them on all occasions. The studded clutch, for one, does a great deal for some ho-hum dressers.
