Alexander McQueen may have departed a little too soon but his legacy and cleverness remain. A true genius that he was, his works are more often than not in excess. The detail, the craftsmanship, the flair. They are all still very apparent in McQueen’s recently released Fall 2010 line of accessories, particularly the clutches. Here’s a preview of the heavenly excess that’s to come our way this fall.

Alexander McQueen Crocodile Byzantine Clutch (Fall 2010 Collection)
With the brand’s signature skull detail, this beauty is made of crocodile skin embellished with glass jewels and edged with matte gold studs. Definitely screams Red Carpet.

Alexander McQueen Byzantine Ivory Mini Book Clutch (Fall 2010 Collection)
(Photos c/o style.com)
A gorgeous book clutch adorned with tiger eye stones and edged with matte gold studs. I can already picture out this precious beauty on the hands of our favorite style stars.
These pieces may not be out yet but you can get a taste of Mcqueen’s brilliance, art, and finesse all rolled into one in these.
Alexander McQueen Knuckle Duster Clutch, $1754
A clever combination of a clutch and a set of knuckle rings in one. Carry opulence in this piece made of leather and sinister silver-tone metal. There are only three of this left in Zappos, so think hard and think fast if you want it.
Alexander McQueen Classic Skull Clutch, $1249
Who would have thought skulls will become a classic? Only McQueen can. This one’s made of leather and silver-tone metal as well but the skull clasp is adorned with genuine Swarovski crystals. Indeed a classic with a bit of a notorious twist.
