Hailee Steinfeld and Her Red Rosette Clutch

Feb 13 2011 • by Rose

Hailee Steinfeld is making headlines these days, thanks to her award-winning performance in the Coen brothers’ 2010 adaptation of True Grit. She’s up for Best Supporting Actress at this year’s 83rd Academy Awards, so we hope the best for her.

At any rate, we spotted the young actress walking the red carpet at the Virtuosos Award Tribute during the 26th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival at the Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara, California on February 4, 2011. Take a look:

Hailee appeared at the event looking very feminine and lovely. She paired a delicate creamy frock with red Aldo suede pumps, and added an equally red H&M chiffon rosette clutch. Here’s her clutch bag up close:

Hailee was certainly a pretty vision of cream and red during the event. I love how she mixed the two colors, which perfectly complemented her smooth skin, and made her look even more lovely. I also love the fact that she didn’t accessorize much and kept her look simple—she stood out that way.

Red is a great color choice for a clutch bag as it adds that pop of color and effectively jazzes up a style. Plus, not only is a red clutch very fitting for this month of love, it’s getting trendy these days, too. I’ve seen many celebrities toting red clutch bags more frequently lately.

So why not make your look more interesting by following Hailee Steinfeld’s style and carrying a red clutch of your own. Try these red clutch bags for a start.
