Nicole Richie was all sparkles at the MET, from her gown to her purse.
Normally, I would say no to such a combination. I mean, you should only have one statement piece on you, not two dazzling ones. But for some reason, Nicole Richie was able to handle both.
Her gown was a glittery silver piece and she paired it with an equally flashy black sequined clutch. It was a good thing her dress had a plain black waistband to offset all the shine.

I guess it’s also a good thing the sequined clutch was black; otherwise, it would have been too much.
